Dr. K. Leroi Nelson writes an article for the Ensign

Dr. K. LeRoi Nelson, a professor emeritus of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, recently wrote an article for the October 2014 issue of the Ensign.

Dr. Nelson received a BS degree in Chemistry at Utah State University in 1948 and a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Purdue University in 1952. In 1956, he began his career at BYU where he taught organic chemistry. Dr. Nelson served as Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry from 1968 to 1971. He retired in 1990.
